Full Proposal

Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna): We are seeking consent to remove the overhanging limbs that encroach into the garden space, as outlined in the attached photographs. These limbs originate from the lower part of the leaning stem and constitute a significant portion of the tree?s canopy spread. The intention is to remove these dominant structural limbs in order to reduce encroachment and maintain a more upright growth form. This would not be a full crown reduction, but a targeted removal of select overhanging limbs to manage intrusion and rebalance the tree within the hedge line. No works are proposed to the hedge or remaining upright structure of the tree. The 3 photos attached show the proposed reduction as marked in red. Also attached a sketch of the whole garden showing hawthorn to be reduced in pink.
